I just bought a Seikosha 1000AS (Epson-compatible) printer in preparation for an IBM-compatible printer I am going to buy. But I like my old VIC-20, and would like to be able to use my new printer with it, since I don't have a printer for it. I remember that companies used to make interfaces that changed CBM ASCII into regular ASCII, and changed from the VIC's serial port to the standard RS232 port on a PC. Are these things still made? What's the price for one of these, preferably used, since I really don't want to spend a lot of money on my VIC. If these interfaces are the same as the ones used for C64's then I would assume that they are relatively common, and I could get one at any Commodore outlet. If so, just email me, and don't embarass me in front of the whole net :-). Thanks, Bryan Siegfried -=- zig@uiuc.edu -=- Biology and Economica at uiuc -=-
