[comp.sys.cbm] Comm. programs for c64

kellogg@prodigal.psych.rochester.edu (Lars Kellogg-Stedman) (06/27/90)

My question: Is there a communiction program for the Commodore 64 that works
reliably at 2400 baud? I keep getting conflicting responses in the local
commodore community...so far, nothing I have works at that speed, although
some (Kermit, Novaterm) claim to.

I just picked up a c64 system for free about a month back, and I've been
trying to turn it into something useful - such as a terminal for logging
onto this unix account, or for programming my SYM-1. The big problem is the
fact that I can't use it at anything faster than 1200 baud.

I've heard of an expansion card that enables the c64 to work at higher
speeds - if you have one you'd like to sell, I may be willing to buy it.
