[comp.sys.cbm] C64 VT100 Terminal Anywhere?

ja26612@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu (07/10/90)

Hi, is there somewhere I can get a vt100 term for the C64? It would be
great if it had 80 columns, and if it were available through Internet.
Anybody seen one? vt102 or vt52 would do too, any term that supports
full-screen editing. I know there was a vt52 term on the 1670 disk.

Please Email me if you know where to find one!

Thanks a lot,
Jeff Axelrod

Yes!

There is a progrma called CBTERM which is available on compuserve
which supports vt100 emulation as well as displaying 80 cols on the 64
(40 cols). Its not the sharpest display but with the right
combination of background and foreground colors it works ok.

It is available on the CBMCOM sig on compuserve, but if you with I can
email it to you. The first method would be better but if you have no
access to compuserve, i'll mail it.

Best C64 vt100 terminal by far is Kermit. It's even got some vt102
extensions.
