Has anyone heard of a GIF viewer for the c128? If not, is anyone willing to modify the gifviewer for the 64 (available as a .sda file at Milton etc. under c64/graphics) for use on the c128? I tried, but couldn't get past the m/l (although a little research did reveal that all the calls the m/l makes are to addresses that are exactly the same on the 64/128) Right now, I'm getting a "Press Record and Play on tape" message after allocating the colors. (I haven't even THOUGHT aboutt how to do the screen display yet..) Any takers? There are thousands, if not millions, of GIF pictures out there... Oh, yeah, as for the 80 column display, the inventive programmer could use macview 128 (also available from Milton under /public/download/c128/graphics) for the source to a scrolling 80 column raphic display. I have all the ideas, just not the machine language experience / skill. Gregg Riedel consp24@bingsuns.pod.binghamton.edu
