[comp.sys.cbm] WANTED: Info on an old Cardco interface with 3 dip switches

mo8j@vax5.cit.cornell.edu (11/16/90)

Hi, netter:

I just bought an old (circa 1983) Cardco printer interface that has 3
DIP switches. Since it does not come with any doc., I would like to ask
anyone who may know what they are for (e.g. CR, LF, printer emulation).

Note that it has only THREE dip switches, instead of the common eight
that are found on most recent ones. One thing I did find out is that
Cardco interfaces have been bought up by Supra and the interfaces are
now marketed under the name CardPrint (remember, the G-Wiz interface).
I did call up Supra tech and they told me that all the three former
Cardco models (including the G-Wiz) they are selling now have EIGHT
dip switches, and they do not have any info about the 3-dipswitch
interface.

So, please help if you can! Thanx in advance !
