FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

1/7/90:  Creative Micro Designs (CMD) of East Longmeadow, MA and Dr. Evil 
Laboratories of Redmond, WA are pleased to announce that CMD has acquired Dr. 
Evil Labs' SID Symphony Stereo Cartridge and SwiftLink-232 Serial Interface 
peripherals for the Commodore 64/128 computers.  Effective January 1, 1991, 
CMD began handling all sales and service of new units of both products and
their support software.

In addition, CMD continues Dr. Evil Labs' tradition of offering "one-stop 
shopping" for the SID music enthusiast by selling the Enhanced Sidplayer 
book/disk 3-voice music editing package and distributing the powerful 6-voice 
Stereo Editor.  CMD also offers a disk of Sidplayer extensions for MIDI
playback.

Kent Sullivan, General Manager of Dr. Evil Laboratories, commented on the 
agreement: "We are very pleased that CMD will be taking over production of both 
cartridges plus the support software.  CMD is in a unique position to offer
these two outstanding products to a larger, international audience of
enthusiastic Commodore 8-bit owners."

Charles A. Christianson, Vice President of CMD, also commented on the 
acquisition: "We are very pleased about the acquisition of the SID Symphony and 
SwiftLink-232 cartridges.  We believe that they will help us to continue our 
tradition of supplying the most powerful and innovative products to the 
Commodore 8-bit owner."
