[comp.sys.cbm] Upgrading to GEOS 2.0

rknop@nntp-server.caltech.edu (Robert Andrew Knop) (01/15/91)

OK, here is what Berkeley had on Q-Link about upgrading to GEOS 2.0. This has
been there for some time, and some of the other things nearby are out of date
by a month or more, so hopefully this is still current:

Berkeley Softworks is still accepting
upgrade orders for GEOS 64 2.0 and GEOS
128 2.0. You may obtain either version
by sending in the manual cover plus
$25.00 plus $4.95 for shipping and
handling (GEOS 64 2.0) or $35.00 plus
$4.95 for shipping and handling (GEOS
128 2.0) to the address listed below.
...
Please send all orders to:

Berkeley Softworks
Fulfillment Center
5334 Sterling Center Drive
Westlake Village, CA 91361

I must say myself that $40 sounds a bit steep for an upgrade, but there it
is.

I have seen adds for Geos 128 2.0 for about $44.00. (Before shipping and
handling however).

The most I have seen it for was $50.

Thanks for posting the information.

Does anyone know if RUN magazine is still selling the Geos Companion Disk with
GeoTerm 128? I looked in the February RUN and didn't see any ads for it.
Did I miss it?

Thanks,
Mark Ford.
