I have been having problems interfacing a Digital Data 2400 RS232 modem with my C128D. I am using an Omnitronix Deluxe RS232 interface, and have tried all possible switch combinations. Under the recommended switch settings (Modem 1, Modem 2, and Normal) the computer locks up. Other settings don't cause lockup but show no signs of communication. I have tried the modem on an Apple //gs, and it worked fine at all speeds. Am I doing something wrong, or is my interface faulty? -- Jason Gorst -my name (|)"Always listen to experts.
