[comp.sys.cbm] IEEE interface

tw0i+@andrew.cmu.edu (Todd Andrew Williamson) (04/14/88)

Does anyone out there know of a <CHEAP> IEEE interface for the C64? I
just acquired a 2031 drive for free, and I'd sure like to be able to
use it. I really don't care if it's actually parallel, I just want
something that'll be faster than the 1541 and somewhat compatible.
Does such a beast exist for less than the price of a used 1541?

Thanks muchly,

Todd A. Williamson

Look for a copy of Transactor magazine at a good bookstore.
Its a Canadian mag that deals primarily with the C64.

They sell an IEEE interface called the G-link I believe.

The price is 40 to 60 dollars. (I can't remember)

I am on the lookout for an IEEE interface and Pet-to-IEEE cable. You know,
a Buscard II, Quicksilver, and the like. I need one for a 64, and it needs
to be memory transparent (i.e. it won't interfere with programs). My old
Buscard II has bitten the dust! Anyone wishing to sell one, contact me.
