[comp.sys.cbm] 1764

I own a 1764 REU and I've heard that you can upgrade it to as much as
2Mb of RAM.
My questions are:

	- Is this really true ?
	- Can GEOS take advantage of this amount of memory ( I have GEOS
	  V1.3 ) ? How ?
	- How can I get this memory expansion ( I live in Sweden ) ?
	- What about compatibility whith the "unexpanded" 1764 ?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it can be done but you need geos 2.00 and a file on Quantum link
called configure 2.1. Also you need a circuit of 3 chips then some
41256k ram chips. But you should only go to about 1meg since I here
that the rec can't handle the extra load I have done one to 512 the to
1 meg and it works great if you would like anymore info I can be
