[comp.sys.cbm] read this if your are interested in PETs!

Hi,

Every once in a while I have seen a posting regarding the PET float
across the net. I have 2 PETs. While they both work in some fashion
or another, each is due for some repair work. I am interested in
corresponding with other PET users (this isn't a joke, PETs are nice
'toy' computers). Since this group seems to be the only appropriate
forum, but the volume of postings on 64/128/... overwhelm the PET,
I suggest that communication by email might be effective. If you are
interested in taking part in the exchange of information regarding the
Commodore PET series of computers, please send mail to me. I will
accumulate the replies and post a count of the respondents as well as
any relevant suggestions.

Thanks for your interest and forthcomming response,

Alan (:^|

Hey Alan,

I know that I may be made fun of, but the PET computer by CBM, model 4016,
was the first computer that I ever had/used/learned/etc. I must admit
that they still hold a fond place in my cpu, er, I mean, heart...

:)
