<< Another line bites the dust >> The repairman just informed me that a complete repair of the burned-out motor on my ATARI 810 drive would cost $300. Now that I am in the market for a new drive, I would appreciate any information on ATARI 800 compatible drives. Specifically, I am researching the INDUS GT, RANA 1000, and ATARI 1050. The first thing to go however is the dust cover door. The damn thing is just in the way! about the 10th time you try to guide a disk through that obstical you scream...ARRRGGGGHHH...and then tear the mother off!
