Well, time marches on and so does my list of toys to buy and bills to pay. I bought my C128D about 8 months ago and since then I've used it for exactly three applications: terminal, Qlink terminal, and Ghosts and Goblins. Needless to say, it's in good condition. I'm asking $400 (flexible). Here's the deal: C128D (64K video RAM and 1571 internal both intact) in like new condition Aprotek RS232 Adaptor (allows use of any normal modem on the 128) TTLRGB & composite cables (only mentioning this because it normally doesn't include these) and the TTLRGB cable plugs into a 1084 monitor if you have one (I need mine for my Amiga). All my Commodore magazines and books (Mapping the 64, Programmers Reference Guides for the 64 and 128, Compute's Second Book of the 128 which includes the SIDPLAYER docs) including the rest of my subscription to RUN (about 8 more issues). I'd throw in my COMPUTE subscription too but COMPUTE is pretty worthless to anyone but IBMoids now. All of my disks, about 150 of them. Very few are actually mine.... a neighbor who was the librarian of a user group or something died and his wife gave me lots of disks. I don't even know what's on most of them. If you think I'm trying to sell pirated software or something, I'll format all of them for you. Free. That's basically it. I'll ship this anywhere UPS Ground will go for free, and it's quite a load when you put it all together. 8 years of Commodore computing, yours for a pittance. Just send mail to kudla@rpi.edu with your offer.....

FOR SALE: Slightly used C128D computer w/ RGB/composite color monitor peripherals, books, software, accessories and misc. The computer features a 1571 disk drive. This system was well cared for and works fine it is not heavily used. The present owner (me) is a world famous (ok so I think so) author (who really is modest) that once used the system to write some pretty interesting C64/128 articles and programs (hey even games!) while the owner is not old he is getting on and would like to retire from the 8 bit world. This computer is looking for a new friend and it's all your's for the small sum of $500.00. Cash or gold bricks will be fine. If your interested please Leave Email with your name and phone #. The owners secretary will call you right back with details on how you can reach the owner. He's busy helping Donald Trump install Amiga's for the Taj Mah Halls (sp?) lighting system.... ...it sorta helps when you can multitask and turn on all the lights at once.... (This message is being posted to Comp.sys.cbm and comp.sys.amiga for everyone to see) If you wish you can contact the author of this for sale message voice at 713/488-3327 central time zone 10 am to 9 pm. -- David W.
