Thanks to all who mailed punter protocol info to me... I am working on my C version of the protocol, but I am proceeding pretty slowly because of lack of time. I will post an updated version of my Power C terminal program with the Punter protocol added when it is done. Thanks to everyone who responded to my posting about a reliable terminal emulator. I finally settled on Kermit 2.2, which I D/L'd from QLink.
