I'm using a MNP 2400 baud modem with Des, so I think the answer to your
first question is yes. As to the inferface, SWIFTlink-232 from Dr. Evil
Labs is what you need. Available from Creative Mirco Designs.

   The Swiftlink will work fine with DesTerm, it's not necessary for a 2400bps 
MNP modem, since DesTerm will work fine at 9600 bps without it.
