[comp.sys.cbm] New control program for IBM PC --> C-64 keyboard converter

kolstad@CAE.WISC.EDU (06/05/91)

If anybody made the IBM PC to Commodore 64 keyboard converter that I posted
a schematic for awhile back, you may be interested in knowing that I added a
feature to the control program.

In the current version, hitting Ctrl-Alt- and 0-3 on the numeric keypad changes
what ROM keymap is used for the keys {}\|~`_ ,page up, down, and end.
For the lookup tables, I've used the programs that accept these characters that
I use the most: NovaTerm, GEOWrite, Power C, and Kermit.

So, if you'd like the new EPROM listing, send me some mail. Also, if you're
really really really used to some program I don't have listed above that
supports special keys, tell me which of the above keymaps you want to boot,
and what you want in it's place. (Personally, I'd probably recommend booting
Kermit -- now that NovaTerm 9.2 does Kermit transfers that are significantly
faster than Kermit's, Kermit has little utility for me...)
