[comp.sys.cbm] Considering upgrade? Amiga for sale!

mx8@vax5.cit.cornell.edu (06/07/91)

I thought some Commodore users out there might be contemplating upgrading
to an Amiga. I offer a low-price way for you to do just that. This system has
served me well, and will serve its new owner equally well. Here's what I'm
selling:

-Amiga 500 w/1 Meg of RAM and internal clock
           -SUNTRON enhanced power supply
-A1084 RGB monitor with stereo speakers (accepts RGB signals from
VCRs, camcorders, etc..)
-A1010 External 800k floppy drive (internal drive on keyboard)
-Everex 24e 2400 baud MNP modem
           -Trumpcard 500 hard disk system:
-Recently received an excellent review on AmigaWorld
-Seagate ST-157N 50Mb SCSI hard drive, configured, formatted
and ready to go.
-Trumpcard controller card supports RAM expansion
-Trumpcard enclosure case (necessary for 500s!)

-And enough software for you to swim in.

Of course, the system includes all the cables, manuals and other goodies
that came when I bought it. I'm asking $1200 for the whole ball of wax. I
will, however, consider any offer brought to my attention. I am also willing
to pay part of the shipping costs (let's talk).

Please send all replies to me, MX8@VAX5.CIT.CORNELL.EDU..

Looking forward to dealing with you,

     Eric Beyer, Cornell University.
