I recently asked about whether Novaterm would make use of the C-128 RGB 80-column monitor the way Kermit for the C-64 does. I received several responses (all reporting that it doesn't) via email. I sent thank you messages to all of the responders, but two bounced back with a host unknown error. If you responded and didn't receive a response from me, then thanks for your response. In summary: No, Novaterm does not make use of the C-128 RGB monitor. Desterm v2.0 was recommended as well as PowerTerm 128, since both of these are C-128 programs. However, Desterm V2.0 does not allow my cursor keys to work when I log onto the Encore system using VT100 emulation. I use the emacs editor on the Encore. I also need Kermit file transfer protocol. I would use Desterm V2.0 but all of my modem time is spent connected to the Encore (except for Q-Link time). Mark. mford@umaxc.weeg.uiowa.edu
