I am fixing a Commodor 64 for a friend. I'm doing this without schematics which has proven to be a challenge. I have isolated the problem down to one chip that is labeled MOS 906114-01 and it's located near the top center of the board. I have looked for this chip in all my data books and have been unable to locate it, probably because it's a custom pal. I suspect this chip because it controls the PROM enable lines and they are all enabled at the same time it also fails to generate the CAS signal on the dynamic rams. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Also if I could find out what the PAL type and program is, I could make one of my own. Please send Email to hansel@trillian.aero.org because I don't read this group too often. Thanks in advance. Steve Hansel
