I've got a cit-101, and it's got a printer port on it. Can anybody tell me 1) how to do continual and/or one-time screen dumps 2) what pins it wants to use? I'm trying to hook it to a TI Omni-800 printer, which may or may not matter anthony a datri cranberry-mellon univer$ity

it wants tx,rx and the two gnds. the others dtr/dsr/rts/cts are selectable in the menu. here is a quick key of printer port control sequences: for a one line dump to printer port: shift pf1 for a one page dump: cntrl pf1 for 'auto line mode': cntrl pf2 printer port input to display: shift cntrl pf3 printer port input to comm port output: shift cntrl pf2 comm port input to printer port output: cnrtl pf3 this also disables comm port input to display keyboard input to printer port output: shift pf2 disabled by shift pf3 keyboard input to comm port output: shift pf3 disable by shift pf2 keyboard input to display and printer port output: cntrl pf4 which also lets comm port input to display and printer port printer port input to display: shift cntrl pf3 disable ALL auxiliary input modes: shift cntrl pf4 disable ALL auxiliary output modes (except one line and one page dumps): shift pf4 -ed
