I have a question about hard disks. I have a DEC HD controller in my 100B. I have a Segate ST-251-1 installed. Lately, I have been getting error messages when I try to boot off the hard disk. It only happens once in a while (power cycle usually fixes it), but basically it says "Booting MS-DOS 3.10" then claims the disk is not a system disk. Should I be making lots of backups at this point and reformatting the thing? Or could the be caused by a cable that isn't properly seated. I have had my 'bow apart quite a bit lately playing around with 3.5" floppies, so maybe the last time I installed the floppy, I jarred something loose. Has anybody else seen this problem? Is there a solution to it? Confused, Warner -- Warner Losh imp@Solbourne.COM We sing about Beauty and we sing about Truth at $10,000 a show.
