The notes for Session GR058 at the DECUS Fall 1990 Symposium are now available
for anonymous FTP from TGV.COM. The directory contains the following files:
GR058.SIT-BIN - MacDraw II slides (Stuffit and Binhex applied). These are
the majority of the slides that were used in the presentation.
GR058.TXT - Text file containing the detailed outline for the talk. This is
the same material as in the GAPSIG session notes.
GR058 is titled "Customizing DECwindows applications via the DECW$*.DAT files".
It discusses what resource files are, why you want to modify them, sources of
documentation for them, and examples. The talk is intended as an introductory
"how to" on working with the Undocumented, Unsupported, Uneverything VMS
DECwindows resources files.
If you don't have access to FTP, you should consider getting a copy of the
upcoming DECUS Transactions... Lot's of good stuff (including my talk) in it.
