This is a pre-announcement, and request for testing/reports:
DECUServe applications are now available through electronic mail. I
would appreciate testing of this facility from Internet addresses (the
rest of it seems to have been OK from the start). A few reports of
success (or failure) would help.
THE CAPABILITY
Send mail to APPLICATION from here
DECUSV::APPLICATION from DCS
application@decuserve.decus.org from Internet
You will get back, by return mail, an application.
If you include "ps" or "postscript" in the mail title, you get PS
If you include "ln3" or "ln03" in the title, you get LN03
Otherwise, you get flat text
(you can only get 1 per mail message).
And yes, the application is sent from DECUSERVE_DOCUMENTS - so we only
have to maintain it there.

Pony express? :-)
Looks like it works. Thanks for the tests, folks.
I've had the following questions asked:
1. What goes in the text of the mail message sent? Answer: We just
discard it, so you may leave it "empty".
2. What do you do with an LN03 (or PS) file after you get it?
Answer: (A) Strip the headers off and print it.
(A2) If it won't print, ask for a different kind. :-}
(B) Fill it out and send it in. :-)
