What's keeping Apple from 1) Implementing the toolbox under a window manager like X or NeWs, since they only provide low level protocols anyway... 2) Using the old virtual memory to map lots of macs all over address space of the Mac II, say. This is sort of the same idea that switcher uses, but it would work better because the virtual macs won't be able to eat up each other's memory. Personally, I would have to say that Apple is getting a bit out its league by trying to go up against people like Sun in the Unix uhiverse...but what do I know?
