I just got info on a MacApp seminar that will be held at the time of the MacWorld Expo in January. Here are the details: MacApp Technical Seminar sponsored by APDA & MacApp Developers Association. Two half-days, January 8-9, 1987 8:30am-Noon (before MacWorld) at the Meridien Hotel in San Francisco. Taught by Kurt Schmucker (author of "Object-Oriented Programming for the Macintosh") and Carl Nelson (president of MacApp Developers Association). The topics will include an introduction to object-oriented programming, Object Pascal, the basic MacApp objects, constructing a MacApp application, etc. The list of topics on the flier did not include an introduction to the Macintosh ROM, so you might need to be familiar with the basics of Quickdraw. Space is limited to ~50 people. I believe that it is open to anyone (i.e., you don't have to be an APDA member), and that they are planning to have a similar seminar at MacWorld Expo in Boston. Contact APDA, 290 SW 43rd Street, Renton, WA, 98055; 206-251-6548.
