[net.wanted] image processing of corona discharge

Is anybody familiar with image processing work done
on corona discharge images -- whether they be from
Kirlian photography, or satellite pictures of solar
flares, etc.

In particular, what kind of image feature measurements
are made on the coronas?  Please drop me a note or
something.  Thanks.
