OK, I know this is a real long shot, but I'm getting desparate and a friend suggested trying usenet. Our band is playing soon at a pre-Olympic men's basketball tournament involving Canada, Australia, Yugoslavia and Italy. We sort of have to play the national anthems. Canada's, of course, is no problem and I've managed to find a band arrangement of "Advance Australia Fair". But for some reason the local music stores don't seem to stock Yugoslavia's "Hej Slaveni" or Italy's "Inno di Mameli". I can't imagine why not. Unless I can find a proper band arrangement of these tunes I'm going to have to apply my own limited arranging talents, which would undoubtedly make "Hej Slaveni" sound like "The Ballad of Gilligan's Island". I'd hate to start an international incident. Note: I have been able to find the piano music for the above tunes; what I'm looking for is a full band arrangement. Pointers, suggestions, etc will be gratefully accepted. The people of Canada thank you in advance. Well, some of them. And you heard it here first, the gold medals for both men's and women's basketball will be returning to the Home and Native Land of basketball, the Great White North.
