My internal drive on a Mac+ recently started making sounds like a wheel on a kid's bike sorely in need of oil. This only happens on certain discs, and only when the head is traveling a good distance (in or out, I don't know). For example, when booting up; but not when reading writing sequential sectors (e.g. formatting a disc just sounds the same as usual). Anyone know what this is? And what to do about it besides not using about 1/3 of my discs on this drive? {seismo!nike!uw-beaver, ihnp4!allegra!fluke} !tikal!phred!jeffp {Jeff Parke} Genie : JEFFP DELPHI : JEFFPARKE
