Our lab is planning on getting e-mail for a 7-mac network with plans for expansion to ~20-25 in the next 24 months. We have looked at InBox and heard good things about it - particularly the user interface - and know that both Apple and SuperMac us it internally. We have an order out for a demo disk of Intermail have seen far less info about it than InBox. As I understand it: 1) InBox requires a dedicated machine while Intermail does not - an InBox update in Feb/March will change this. 2) Both support zones and bridges. 3) Both support sending to individuals or groups, and sending messages or documents and applications as well. 4) Intermail is from a small company - on the phone they said their bank would not extend credit w/o a 3 month track record of orders - while Think has several products and is doing quite well it appears. What I would like to hear about is: 1) Speed and reliability 2) User preferences for one system or the other 3) Limitations that are not apparent from available literature 4) Anything else you care to share Thanks, Steve P.S. If the folks from Think would like to respond to me that would be great. We are also interested in LaserWriter spoolers and it looks like Laser SuperSpool - which spools quickdraw and provides preview - is the one to wait for - any beta testers out there? -- Steven D.
