[comp.sys.mac] MacGet/MacPut - MacTerminal File Transfer

Has anyone used the program Macget, previously posted to mod.mac.sources,
to transfer Microsoft Word documents over MacTerminal?  When I try it
with documents that contain anything other than straight text, I end 
up with either an empty file or a file containing characters divided
by a lot of space which have nothing to do with the file I tried to 
transfer.
