Hi, I got a Question for the Mac World ! If I transfer a text file from an IBM to the MAC, how would I look at the file while on the MAC, do I use MACWRITE ! Another Question ! If I transfer Macwrite files to the IBM, is there any way I could look at the file in the IBM ! Thanks for any response ! Ray

Yes, you can use MacWrite. When you open the file, it will recognize the file as being text and ask you how it should treat carriage returns. The file will then be named Untitled, and you will have to rename it when you save it. You can also use MockWrite ( a shareware DA ) or other editors to view the file. > Another Question ! > > If I transfer Macwrite files to the IBM, is there any way I could look at > the file in the IBM ! > Ray Sure. When you save the file in MacWrite, save it as "text only". Then you can send it to the IBM, and edit it using any editor that will import standard ASCII files. ---- Dan Crimmins University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Computing Services Office - Micro Consulting Dept.
