According to Barron's, a stock market-oriented financial publication, Monday: Apple Computer unveils more than 20 new products including a new line of Macintoshes, aimed chiefly at the office market ... chief executive Joh Sculley predicts "Apple's high-end will suddenly become our low-end products," referrring to new machines that offer "industrial strength networking." I guess if that isn't official confirmation of a 68020-based machine, I don't know what is. Barron's doesn't mention that Apple stock hit a new all-time high of 71.375 last week, after closing on Dec. 31 at 40.5. Several have said the rumored new products have been pushing the price up, although anyone who'd actually seen the machines would be guilty of insider trading if they bought the stock. -- Joel West {ucbvax,ihnp4}!sdcsvax!jww (ihnp4!gould9!joel once I fix news) jww@sdcsvax.ucsd.edu if you must
