Okay, I've just started using 5.4/3.3 find/sys when I notice this beaker shaped icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Hmmm... Wonder what that is. Oh well. Then can't seem to be able to open any folders. Hmmm. Hit option key a few time and the icon changes. beaker->option->beaker with arrow ->option->full beaker with arrow->option->empty beaker. What the hell??? Question: Does anyone know what this icon does? I've seen it in other apps beside the Finder so it must be global to the system. While I was at apple interviewing for a summer job I got to talk with one of the people working on the finder. He said that originally he had a fish swimming in an aquarium rather then spinning watch hands. Question: Does anyone have a copy of those icons they could upload to the net? Incedentally, does anyone have a version of macapp.make which works with version b1 of macapp and version 2.0 of MPW? Thanz for the memories, Pierce wetter Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio, replied: "You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat." -------------------------------------------- wetter@tybalt.caltech.edu --------------------------------------------
