Thanks to all who responded about using Macs and TOPS remotely. The basic
solution proposed by many was:
Put an interbridge and modem at each end, but only for
file transfer, not interactive stuff on the desktop
because at 2400b things are just too slow.
This is also, unfortunately an expensive solution, near $1k/remote node.
We are thinking about bringing up RRH from Freesoft as a staff bboard system
to meet the upload/download needs of our users from home.
For those who would like more details send me a note and I'll forward the
responses I got over the net.
