Can anybody out there give me a pointer as to what I am doing wrong ? I have two problems with a program I've written. 1) For some reaon I get two copies of the DAs under the Apple menu (ie the list twice , one after the other). All I'm doing is using a resource to put an About ... and a line then using AddResMenu. 2) I have a TextEdit window which allows me to do all normal typing - but only if the cursor is over a window. If the cursor is in the backdrop - the mouse freezes (after the cursor has been obscured). If anybody has seen these problems, or knows of their causes any help would be gratefully received. Both problems are exhibited in both LSC and SUMacC One other thing - I'm trying to use DAs from icons - I can get the DA up but again the mouse freezes. I am told this question has been discussed before - sorry I must have missed it. Again any ideas welcome.
