When I typed option-k when clicking on the "ok"
button to print on the LaserWriter, the LW status
box says "Creating PostScript File." Fine. I then
used a DA called miniWRITER to download this PS
file to the LW. It then found the LW and gave the
"Initializeing Printer" message and that was it.
What is the purpose of the LaserPrep PS file I
created with opt-K? How can I make my ENTIRE
MacWrite document into a PS file which I could
then download? Don't say opt-D because I tried
that and it didn't do anything. What is opt-D
supposed to do?
And finally: Where does one find out these useful
bits of information? Certainly not Apple's LW
manual. I also skimmed through Inside LAserWriter
and found nothing useful concerning opt-k, opt-d.
