[comp.sys.mac] Apple -> Mac file transfer

Hello,
I am posting this message for a friend, Jeff Hook.
Jeff needs to transfer some binary files from an Apple IIe with a super
serial card (or a IIgs) to a Macintosh. He's been able to use a print 
driver on the apple II end to transfer straight ascii files. He's wondering
if anyone can suggest a procedure that works or a combination of
software packages that will work with each machine.
