I was offered AppleCare at a real steep price and decided that the machine was durable enough not to require it. Not to be pedantic, but my 2yr old IBM PC has never even hiccupped . . . BTW, got the thing fixed. It was the disk drive, which had to be replaced; NEBA Computer in Plaistow, NH, which sold me the Mac+, charged me $114 + $25 labor, so I got off cheap.
