[comp.sys.mac] JX80 to Mac connection

lachac@topaz.UUCP (04/13/87)

Recently at the great and thrilling Trenton State Computer Fest, I bought
a wonderful JX-80 brandy new with the DOTS*PERFECT upgrade for NLQ. Now
flipping through the Dots manual it says the JX-80 can now be interfaced
with the Mac. My roomate flipped, he has a Mac+ (I have an Amiga, hey, the
best of both worlds!) He is very tired of waiting in line to laser print
everything so he want the resident Comp Sci major to build him a cable to
enable him to print with the Mac+ to the JX-80.

	Which of course brings me to here. Has/Does anyone have any specs
on building a cable from the 8-pin out on the Mac? I have a 5pin to
parallel connector serial-->parallel converter.
	More importantly, does anyone know where I can get a printer driver
in order to get my conncoction to work???

Please E-mail me responses, thanks...
