I am in the process of documenting some work that I have done on the Mac. To do this I am planning to include some pictures of the desktop at various times, showing different folders. No problem, I think, so I use Control-Shift-3 to do some screen dumps, open them up with MacPaint, cut them out and paste them into the scrapbook, and finally open up my document with MacWrite and paste the pictures into the document. No problem. Then I try to print it to our LaserWriter. PROBLEM! I get the following message: Error: VMerror; OffendingCommand: imagemask Does anyone know what the problem is? I then tried the exact thing using Word 3.0 and got the exact same error. What is going on? I am using a Plus with an Apple 20 meg SCSI Drive connected by AppleTalk (of course) to an Apple LaserWriter. As far as I know I am using the latest drivers (3.2 I think) and the latest system/finder combo (3.1 and 5.3, I know, I know 4.0 is out but I'm waiting for the 'official' upgrade). Has anyone encountered this problem before? Is it my fault, MacWrite's fault, the LaserWriter driver's fault? If you have any ideas at all please send me mail. Thanks in advance, Ken Settle
