I have some old disks that came with my mac that I want to erase but after I use the "Erase Disk" desk top function each time I insert the disk it tells me that the disk needs repairs and do I want to repair it. It also will not write files to the disks. The disks in question are those that have the junk promo-programs on them and the spare system disk that you get with a new machine. In as much as there are about 15 machines around here we could use the old disks for something more than cluttering up the place. Anyone know how to really erase them? I tried the running them thru the library machine trick proposed a few weeks ago. Not helpful. Please mail responses as I don't get much time to read the news. Thanks, Bruce --
