ReSent-From: postman#@andrew.cmu.edu ReSent-To: nntp-xmit#@andrew.cmu.edu Return-path: <pw0g#@andrew.cmu.edu> To: outnews#ext.nn.comp.sys.mac@andrew.cmu.edu Does anyone out there know of a method/program which will allow cancellation of print jobs on a LaserWriter without the need for a print spooler, from another machine on the network? The only way I can stop long jobs now is by physically power-cycling the machine and this is Not a Good Thing to do frequently. Alternatively, is there a simple way to globally restrict the number of copies printed for any job without requiring all the systems to have some mods (I have been told it can be done in the driver but haven't tried). I am not at all sure that such things exist or (in the first case) are possible but they would be useful. Thanks for your help.
