I'm back from my honeymoon and I posted the first article to comp.binaries.mac this morning. Please look for it and let your system administrator or news administrator know if you don't find it. The header for this article is: From: peterj@rosevax.Rosemount.COM (Peter Juhl) Newsgroups: comp.binaries.mac Subject: LAZlife 2.0c Message-ID: <2650@felix.UUCP> Date: 28 Apr 87 13:38:52 GMT Sender: macintosh@felix.UUCP Reply-To: peterj@rosevax.Rosemount.COM (Peter Juhl) Organization: Rosemount Inc., Eden Prairie, MN Lines: 520 Which brings me to my next quest: improving the propagation of comp.binaries.mac and comp.sources.mac Frankly, the part I like least about moderating the Macintosh groups is responding to people who miss bits and pieces of what is posted. At least, with the groups moderated, we don't see the group fill up with "please repost" type messages. But judging by the increase in mail I'm receiving lately, there are black holes out there sucking up Macintosh software. How can you help? If you are a site that receives value from these groups, support them by sending me mail to volunteer to set up a UUCP/news connection to receive (and pass on) these groups directly. I'm most interested in finding sites who would be willing to call me; 1200/2400 baud dial-in is supported. If this sounds like something your site can do, have your system administrator and/or news adminstrator send me mail including: - name - function (system/news administrator or other) - system name - telephone number I can reach you at (including best time to call) Thanks. -- Roger L.
