I'm working on a Dialog Box in a DA in which there is a picture. I have the picture in a PICT resource (with the correct owner) and in the dialog box, I refer to it in the item list. The DA never draws the picture and things get real flaky (ie, it hangs, resets the Mac, or works fairly well except any call to the IsDialogEvent returns false.) If I take the picture out, everything works fine. When I install it using the Font/DA Mover (3.2), it tells me that there is no picture data in the file. If I go in with ResEdit, I can see that it is still there. When I look at it's DLOG or DITL resource, it draws it. Yet Font/DA Mover refuses to put it in. No, I haven't tried 3.4. I've been paranoid to use anything but GCCs recommended Finder 5.3/System 3.2 since I switched and my HyperDrive 20 went "Ack!" and died. Nor have I tried copying the picture into the system by hand (renumbering it appropriately, of course) and seeing if that makes a difference.
