I'm going to be teaching a computer literacy course this summer using the Mac. The course will include programming in LOGO, and an introduction to some application programs. I'd like some advice both on what to consider and what to avoid in both these areas. We'll be working with 512k macs, so software cannot be extremely greedy about memory (although we won't be developing very large programs, naturally). I also welcome recommendations on books introducing the mac --this is for me as well as the students, since I have never used one before. Please mail responses to me directly. I'll summarize if people are interested. Thanks. Michael P. Smith USENET : mps@.duke.UUCP ARPA : mps@duke.cs.edu
