Recently there have been a couple of queries searching for math packs. Here is an incredibly tiny, non-exhaustive list: - MathMacPac (Advanced Logist. for Math. and Sci.) includes: systems, roots, ode's, graphing, fft's, etc. - MacMathPascal (Coherent Cognition) : fft's, num. integration, ode's, interpolation, etc. - MacNumeriacl Recipes (Numeric Recipes, Inc.) : interp., sorting, spec. functions, eigen-systems, fft's,etc. ... have nothing offer concerning speed, accuracy, etc. -bill -------------------------------------------------------------- disclaimer #22, anyone finding an opinion herein shall be shot by order of the author (apologies to MT)

The people at THE MATH WORKS INC. were, at one time, working on MatLab for the MAC. MatLab stands for matrix laboratory. It provides access to matrix software developed by the LINPACK and EISPACK projects....state of the art software for matrix computation. My personal opinion is that MatLab is terrific.....I have it for my IBM-PC.
