Forgive me if you have seen this message before. I believe the news software rejected it the first time. I have a question about the new 4.1 system. I have an INIT I wrote that put a value in SysFontFam ($BA6). I prefer to use a font I designed myself, rather than Chicago, for the system font. The problem is that the new system is putting 0 (for Chicago) back in SysFontFam. It happens during a launch I believe. I have searched the beta IM5 and believe that it is the script manager or something related to this new feature. I think that itlb or itlc must have the system font (smSysScript?) for the US (Roman) script. Does anyone know what I have to do to make my font agreeable to the system? This is only for my own computer and will never be distributed with any program or product. By the way, it seems we are about due for a new ResEdit version or at least some templates, etc. Any one heard anything? Thanks...Please reply to me and I will report back if anyone else is interested. ------------------ Kim Gillies National Optical Astronomy Observatories Tucson, AZ 85719 {ihnp4, siesmo}!noao!gillies 6023275511 ext 246 Delphi: KGILLgngani
