While visiting my computer dealer recently, I got a brief moment to play with VersaTerm PRO. Unfortuantely, I was leaving town that day for summer break so I didn't much of a chance to ask my dealer questions and read the manual. So, I've got a few questions for you VersaTerm [PRO] owners: 1. What is the difference between VersaTerm and VersaTerm PRO? Is it just that VersaTerm PRO can emulate more terminals? 2. I've noticed that the phone menu under 'edit phones' only had space for I believe something like 8 phone numbers. I also notice that under the file menu you can't open/save VersaTerm PRO documents. So, does VersaTerm PRO limit you to 8 numbers phone numbers only, or is there someway of getting something like MacTerminal documents, but with 8 phone numbers each. 3. Is it possible to send vt100 keypad codes w/o the Mac+ keyboard? I didn't notice anything like MacTerm's Keypad menu entry, but perhaps thats good since its a pain to drag the mouse up to the keypad menu anytime you want to use a keypad code. thanks in advance, Christopher Chow /---------------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Internet: chow@tcgould.tn.cornell.edu (128.84.253.35) | | Usenet: ...{uw-beaver|ihnp4|decvax|vax135}!cornell!batcomputer!chow | | Bitnet: chow@crnlthry.bitnet | | Phone: 1-607-253-6699, USPS: 7122 N Campus 7, Ithaca, NY 14853 | | Delphi: chow2 PAN: chow | \---------------------------------------------------------------------------/
