Need a little info... I posted a few days ago about finding a numeric keypad to go along with my old keyboard now that I have upgraded to a Mac+. I can't bear to part with it. I have since run across a product from Cambridge Automation called a Numeric Turbo. It combines a trackball (identical to Turbo Mouse) with a numeric keypad. "Great package!", says me. Then, in fine print, the bane of all upgradees: "Incompatible with Mac Plus". Woe is me. Then I thought about it. Is it really Mac+ incompatible, or will it just not work in conjunction with the Mac+ keyboard? I'm not too knowledgeable in this area, but it seems that since it worked with Mac 512, and the key codes couldn't have changed much (or else the old keyboards wouldn't work), that it would still push out char codes that could be interpreted, but may conflict with those pushed out by the new Mac+ keyboard. Am I all wet? Does anyone have access to knowledge of this beastie or, even better, be able to test this combination out? Any help is appreciated. Jeffrey A. It might be a problem with the Mac Plus keyboard, or with the 128K ROMs. Even the Apple numeric keypad has some trouble on the 128K ROMs. Also, be sure to test it out on system 4.1, as some of the third-party keyboard software is incompatible (they modify the driver code in-memory <gag!>) My recommendation is NOT to buy this product unless you can test it thoroughly first. _emt
