I stopped by my friendly local BusinessLand franchise to drool
over new goodies and pick up the latest system and finder.
They don't have the Mac ][ on display -- they're selling every unit
they can get. The salesman was willing to talk price and delivery,
but they don't have one out to let you play with the keyboard before
you buy one.
I then went over to the service department, and asked the service guy
if he had the new system/finder. He said yes, but he wouldn't give
me a copy when I told him I had an SE. He did have a list (I didn't
get a close look to see the source) of ten common software packages that
are known to have have mouse/keyboard freezes with the new system and
finder. He said that the list didn't include Excel, which also has the
problem. He said the problem is on SE's and ]['s, not on the Plus.
[ADB problem?] He is expecting a new, revised, final corrected version
from Apple before the end of the month.
Does anyone on the net have a copy of the magic list?
